Uppercase is a US-based platform for teachers to connect with award-winning experts in their fields' to expand their knowledge and expertise, receive helpful advice and support, reignite their passion, and build strong networks. All of which are desperately needed in a blighted American education system.
Working with the strategy and creative teams, I assisted in developing the tone of voice for the brand identity for Uppercase, which was designed and delivered by the creative team at &Walsh. The voice and messaging highlights the brand's desire to uphold the strength and fervour of educators without patronizing or belittling them. This ties into the overall art direction and strategy of the identity which spotlights teachers as icons in their own right in their respective field.
The copy and taglines focus on the quick-wit, zeal, and confidence of the community as they navigate the challenges of learning crowd control, fifth-grader style.
Students have teachers. Teachers have Uppercase. Never not learning.
